As education changes and a high school diploma or even a college diploma for that matter is no longer an indicator of future success. We must help today's students leave high school prepared for success in some type of post-secondary schooling or training. They must be equipped with the "soft skills" - like creativity, communication, and collaboration. This week’s Twitter chat will focus on student-centered approaches to learning. What do today’s students need to be able to know to succeed in tomorrow’s world? How can we reshape our current education system so that learning is personalized, and students have true voice in the classroom?
Join #EdChatRI Sunday night at 8 PM to discuss the shift to Student Centered Learning, the pros and cons and what it takes to successfully make this instructional transition.
