As education in the US continues to change, grow and adapt to higher standards, more rigor and an overall increase in workload, for students, teachers and administrators, what must we do as educators to keep up with this change for the benefit of our students.
Over the past few years with the creation of the Common Core State Standards, a major change in the evaluation system and an increased use of data, just to name a few, education has become much more demanding and in some ways overwhelming for students, teachers and administrators. What can and should we do to embrace this change and meet with greater success?
We are excited to invite the new Mayor of the Capitol City, Jorge Elorza to join us tonight as we discuss the only constant in education and life and that is "Change". What does it mean to all of us as we navigate the future of education in the city of Providence, the state of Rhode Island and the rest of the country as well.
Join us Sunday night at 8 PM for #edchatri as we look to "Open the Doors to Change".
