If education were the human body, where would we see ourselves today. Would we view ourselves as healthy, strong and energetic, or would we be more frail, weak and exhausted.
There are a number of things going on in education today and are all of these things making us better or are they wearing us down. If we are ailing, what remedies might we have to fix what is broken. If we are growing and improving, what is it that is making these improvements and how can we capture what is working and share it with others.
Are we taking care of the whole child in education today or are we just addressing the mind. I would argue that the world that we all teach and learn in today is much different then the world we went to school in and certainly it is a mere shadow of the world our parents knew.
As educators today we have a much larger role in the development of the children who come to our schools each and every day. Are we doing a good job of addressing the whole child and are we creating a healthy, safe learning environment where all of our students and teachers can flourish.
Join us Sunday night at 8 pm on #edchatri, as we take a close look at just what it means to be healthy in education today and find out together how we can all, create that environment for every one who walks through our doors.
